Better Tweetie Bubbles
So, I don’t know about you, but I really hate the way Tweetie puts the tip of the “chat bubbles” touching the top of the shape. Looks really awkward to me I think. I decided to take matters into my own hands and create some “fixed” resources for the app.
This would have looked way nicer just a day ago, but Tweetie just released a new version that changed the selected style. You won’t see the blue bubbles unless you’re using an older version, but it should still fix the point.

Just download the zip, extract the resources, and put the files in Tweetie.app/Contents/Resources/

May 27, 2009Tim: yeah, it works in 1.2 or 1.1 just fine. Probably works in older versions as well.

Jun 17, 2009Man, does the new Tweetie highlight style suck. This only alleviates the bubbles, and not the lame gradient highlighting. Thanks so much anyway, Josh!
