Microformats Presentation

Man, I really need to be blogging more often!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to speak at .

This was my first time giving a long presentation, and it’s given me a completely new perspective for presenters. It’s a really tough job! To make matters worse, I developed a pretty severe cold this week, leaving my voice sounding awful. Despite all these obstacles, I think it went quite well.

My presentation was on , a subject that I’ve been pretty passionate about lately. The official title was: “An Intro to Microformats & The Power of Semantic Web Design”. I presented the importance of semantic web design, and how Microformats is a part of that. I also gave a pretty thorough explanation of Microformats – what they are, how to implement them, and what you can do with them.

If you’re interested in this subject, I encourage you to watch the uStream recording, or download the presentation:

I’m grateful for the opportunity to present. One of my life-goals has always been to share my knowledge. Who knows where that will lead in the future.
