Silicon Florist

Silicon Florist is a local blog here in Portland, OR that highlights news and events in Portland’s blossoming tech scene. While the content was great, the previous blog design was just not as polished as it needed to be.

We worked with Rick Turoczy, the owner of the blog, to develop several mockups for the various pages on the site. We wanted to improve the readability, findability, and aesthetic appeal of Silicon Florist. Then, once the mockups were approved, we coded all the mockups into some clean new XHTML code, utilizing Progressive Enhancement as much as possible. The end result was a beautiful new design that received many compliments from the readers.
